How terrible. What an especially awful time for something like this to happen. Take care of him. (I know you will.)

What a mixed year this has been for you. Such blessings and such heartbreak.

my thoughts are with you. just think of the rose beyond the wall. it grow there still, only you cannot see it there, beyond that great wall. but that rose grows ... in light and love.

How sad, Amy, how sad. Please do know that somebody from the other end of this world wishes you both love. It is good tht you are with him at this most tragic and saddest moment of his life. May you find strength in each other. Death is not the end.

As to the "Monday Thanksgiving" thoughts, I wrote down something yesterday, (Monday here) without giving it a title. It was just a little contemplation of something I am blessed with, unconsciously knowing that it is so fitting to this tradition you have started.

much love...

I hope you have a very merry Christmas, that Santa brings you everything you deserve and that it doesn’t take too long to work off the effects of Christmas dinner.

Thank you for being part of what has been a fascinating year for me.
